You, Little-Red-Headed-Terror-From-Schenectady, have come forward from the shadows of the forest. You have braved the gauntlet and offered your wampum belt, the record of your people. You have spoken well and adhered to all the customs and traditions of Mohicanland. It is, therefore, the decision of the Mohican Clan Mothers that you should be welcomed at the council fire. To mark your adoption, you shall be given a new name.....

As you have traveled from the frontiers of the Mohawk Valley, to the western frontiers of the great rivers; you've lived in the settlements of the prairie and have sojourned to the swamplands of the southern tribes; from the Mary Land colony to the country of the San Jacinta...... all in search of the elusive Hawkeye. You have proved yourself, paid homage, and spoke true. You are now to be known as She-Who-Has-Tracked-Le Longue Carabine. This name is a great honor!
