Hi, Betty! I, for one, am always ready to give Daniel Day-Lewis some attention. I have seen most of his films, and am always impressed by his acting, and his chameleon-like ability to "become" each different character. His looks vary so completely from movie to movie that it is sometimes difficult to imagine you are watching the same actor. He's just incredible. But by far, my favorite role for him will always be Hawkeye. All I have to do is THINK about him running through the tall grass to rescue Cora, and it's "be still, my heart!" That wonderful black hair flowing behind...please Dan, grow it back out again!! Second to Hawkeye, I love the character of Newland Archer in Age of Innocence. Such an elegant, suave, handsome portrayal of long-suffering, unfulfilled love...yikes!...one kiss planted on Michelle Pfeiffer's wrist is worth a thousand more explicit love scenes starring any other actor!
You and I will both be eagerly awaiting the big-screen viewing of our Hawkeye! June can't get here fast enough!
