Hi Mike,
I am an American expatriate living in England. I travel quite a bit and as such spend more time than I care to getting back and forth from Heathrow airport. One of the drivers from the taxi service I use is a Sergeant-Major (retired) of the 60th Royal American's successor regiment, the King's Royal Rifle Corps. In 1958 the King's Royal Rifles Corps became one of three single battalion regiments of the Royal Green Jackets Brigade. The Sergeant-Major has loaned me a history of Green Jackets titled "Jackets of Green, A Study of the History, Philosophy, and Character of the Rifle Brigade" by Arthur Bryant, C.H. The copy I have was published by Collins in 1973. The book focuses on the 95th Rifle Regiment which after Waterloo became The Rifle Brigade before finally becoming in 1958 a battalion regiment of the Royal Green Jackets Brigade. Believe me I do have a life beyond this subject but when I found your web site I felt I had to be in my 6d.
Regards,
Daniel Hurley
