: Well, the Sachem says "so Munro's seed won't die", so I assume that means they are to have children together. However I think it would be possible for Magua to take her as wife and yet treat her as slave. Does anyone out there know more about what Huron would have done in such circumstances??

I think that she would be a bit of both...not really a slave that would be treated harshly, but she would live and work with the tribe becoming a Huron herself in time. I was shocked too that he would disrespect and elder like that....speak his mind yes, but never curse someone so respected.
