BRRRR.....and questions

Morning, all!

Yes, I'm still snow bound here in Ohio. We set a new record, 18.2 inches of snow at last official count.

Carol, now I know you don't live all that far from me, did you get this mess as well?

Question. Hawkeye says, "Your wounded should try walkin' on back to Albany." Okay....we never did see the wounded, did we? And since Duncan was the military commander of this trek, would he really go with the others so quickly and leave his men behind? I've got to think this would not be an easy choice to make considering his loyality to the crown and military training. Maybe if he had seemed more confused with which way to go, or seemed more concerned about his wounded, I would not question how he seemed to easily desert his troop and then not say anything about it. Or, could it be he was simply more concerned with the Munroe sisters' welfare and his love for Cora?
