: I agree, Sarah, about Duncan. Although my admiration came later for Duncan I couldn't help but be impressed by the way he selflessly gave him up to the flames so that Cora and DDL could be together. When DDL was screaming "take me" Duncan could have easily translated that to the Sachem instead of offering himself. Although you wonder if they would have put DDL to the flames since he so bravely walked into the camp enduing all kinds of torment. But Duncan had no way of even knowing that..... I think that Duncan was very misunderstood for most of the movie...Lynne

Duncan could have walked out of that camp with cora but i think this was hes way of fixing any wrongs he had done towards both cora and DDL. I couldnt have done it. I know some of you will hate to hear it but Duncan has my loyalty over DDL. sorry guys
