: : Okay, here is something more to put up for consideration.
: : Magua captures the two daughters of Munro. When cutting out his (Munro's) heart he has one of those verbose moments when he tells Munro that he will "put your daughters under my knife and wipe your seed from the earth forever". Neat scene by the way as I am sure Victoria will agree. At any rate, he hikes to the sachem's village and because of Hawkeye's interference, the sachem rules that only
: : one of the daughters will die in the fire.....then changes that ruling
: : yet again and allows Hawkeye to take Cora with him, Magua takes Alice and Duncan is to suffer that hickory smoked sun tan. Magua was not
: : happy with the sachems ruling and got huffy.
: : So my question is, what do you think were Magua's intentions. Take Alice as instructed to appease and replace the loss of his own children? Take Alice to the north where the Huron are not "women" and
: : roast at least ONE of Munro's daughters? Take Alice up north, roast her, and then set out with another war party to find and capture Cora also...and send her to join Alice in the land of the barbqued and departed? Make Alice his wife? Say screw it and retire to Florida?
: : Bill R
: Make Alice his wife/slave looks the most probable. Or may be use her as trade item ?
: Anyway, screw it and retire to Florida sounds a lot better!!!

Speaking of Munro's heart, what did Magua do with it after cutting it out of the Colonel? I know he held it aloft, but then what happened to it? Perhaps cardiac kabobs at the next campfire with a side order of Alice barbeque. Keep in mind that the demented GGGG Bill started this warped thread, not me.
