Kihew, the Eagle woman sees the smoke signal; the Dreamcatchers are re-reversed. Hawkeye and Ching, whose Nikes suddenly fit fine, rush eastward to Chimney Rock Park. The web's hold has been broken. All is well. Magua is no longer being hotly pursued by even hotter GGGGs. They've snapped out of it. Bill has rejoined the Depends Brigade. Even Mary is herself again... doing the Sauk et Fox Shuffle down Main Street. (Leaving a few burning buildings along the way.)

Hawkeye and Ching arrive in time for the festivities and Marcia says......................

"If anyone out there is planning to attend the Great Mohican Gathering of '98, you'd best e-mail to finalize some plans."
