Yes, Bill, there were several "doubles" for Killdeer - much lighter versions for the running scenes, etc. Now, as for the barrels, I'm not really certain. I would think they'd all be the same. Killdeer is Killdeer (not to be confused with the reliable Chipmunk Wounder!)! However, remember Hawkeye often used muskets picked up in the heat of battle. This may be what you are referring to. I'll have to watch that more closely the next time (5,997,621,123rd - I think!) ...
