Victoria,
Well now that you mention it, it might be a jim-dandy idea to have some organized games and events at the gathering!! Let's see....how about a Mohican Decathalon? Maybe a leap-through-the-falls event (oldsters get a head start! We can
put flotation devices on our walkers and wheel chairs). How about a leap-off-the-Rock event? (youngsters get to go FIRST on that one! DDL and Uncas remain behind to act as judges....and help my older lady friends down the mountain!) Maybe a tug of
war with under 40 on one side and over 40 on the other....winners get to pick who sits with them at the luncheon picnic table. Or
would you ladies rather have winners pick bunk mate? How about
a run-up-the-mountain event? Youngsters have to carry a bag of
rocks weighing approximately what a fully charged oxygen bottle would weigh? Then comes the 200 yard canoe paddling event, the
carry the damn dead elk relay race, and the mud-wrestling-for-stars event.
