Yes, it's true. I AM an old bat! And I was around during the Dark Ages before Chevy Chase fell from grace, and ended up doing late night Info-mercials.

I remember sitting in my rocker at the Rest Home & chortling over that one with my cronies! Almost as funny as when she told about meeting Bo Derek & suggesting she either pluck that one stray nosehair, or "braid it, and put some leetle tiny beads on it!" We nearly blew out our pacemakers laughing that day!

Not to worry...I happen to know that Gilda Radner was a James Fenimore Cooper junkie, and often did comic sketches which incorporated hilarious lines from his frequently overlooked satiric essay, "Hawkeye...He Kills Me!" (That ought to cover us, whilst we digress down this path for two posts and a bit! That, and the fact that Rich & Elaine are probably in the Christmas spirit, and will overlook our silliness!)
