: Ok, it's a commercial break.  They're in the cave.  Oh, man, I forgot how powerfull the massacre scene was!  When I first saw it in the theater, it was all I could do to keep from screaming, "For God's sake, fix bayonets!"  All those troops and colonists...then Hawkeye, Uncas, and Chingachook start their run, Alice is threatened, Cora saves her, Cora is threatened, Hawkeye sees and moves heaven and earth to get to her (in slow motion), Hawkeye saves her, Cora runs into his arms, the French horns start blasting, and I'm practically bawling by this point.  What a movie!
