: To all who visit this site, welcome.

: We ask that you be a bit patient with some of the behavior at this far flung outpost where the veneer of civilization wears a bit thin sometimes.  The current public brawling by some of the female residents over certain courere de bois would not be tolerated back east where they would be hauled into court and fined, or worse.  And if the musket balls start flying, some of us just shut the doors to our cabins, pull the latch string in and wait 'til the air clears before venturing back out again. I do assure you that we can be well behaved if we want to.
