To Elizabeth - I tend to agree with you that dwelling on an interview several years old is a bit much. I am not acquainted with Eric personally, but I believe is an extremely talented actor, and I look forward to seeing more of him in leading roles. We need to put prejudice behind us, and see the person for who they really are. And besides, he's gorgeous, isn't he?

: : : I had a reaction similar to that of Rich and Elaine when I read this interview. I, too, really "want to like" Eric. In this culture I think we tend to assume that physically beautiful people are automatically beautiful on the inside, and it's a shock when we see something disturbing in them, like the anger that is so apparent in Eric's words.
