I have been wondering when it was safe to come out (Didn't want to get caught between all the flinging flamo flames!....) Actually, it all made very interesting reading; lots of ideas/views/opinions.
For MY humble opinion, (which is as usual, a bit overdue!), I read (and reread, and reread...) the "ES" interview; what "I" find the most amazing (and curious) is: how did this interview get past the editor's round file, much less into a magazine!
I have not heard of this magazine, "Trail Dust". Is it a "local to some area" magazine? (Should I go to Books and Boarders and check for it?) Just curious.
To go back to the very FIRST reason as to why this interview ever made it to the board: Was there a love scene filmed between Uncas and Alice in the cave? Does this interview shed any light on this? (I don't want to open up any more worm cans; just want to deal in the facts, ma'am). To read just that question and answer would seem something was filmed; however, taking the interview as a whole....it would make one wonder what was/wasn't filmed... an impossible thing to know. Maybe it would be a help to see if Jodhi May has anything/ever said anything addressing this point? (Neuromancer; you indicated that you had some background stuff on Jodhi... anything on this?) Does she have an agent with e-mail to see if she would like to "say" anything, via her agent? Just a thought.
