This may be a bit premature, but ... is it safe to come out yet? I apologize to all of you who have helped to make this such a fine board for clogging it up the past couple of days with such hog wash. Due to what I felt were the personal nature of the remarks, I found it hard not to respond, though ignoring it all may have been the preferred tact. When someone mentions that "this is not a flame" right in their opening comment, well I get a little suspicious. I have no problem with her disagreeing with me - and yes, she is a she. Her delightful little e-mails have let me know that. In fact, she, like me, has an Italian last name. Wonder what THAT says about race-relations? - it was her manner, or lack of same! I know I, too, got a little sarcastic, especially at the end there, but sometimes it's best to fight fire with fire. I can see now that the larger this site becomes, in terms of visitation, the more frequently this type of thing is likely to occur. I guess we ought to get used to it. I will leave the thread of the past 2 days up for another day or two, for your viewing pleasure, but then it will disappear. Again, thank you Marcia, Myrrh, Jo, Mike, Joy, Lynne, Joe, Bill, Georgette, Heather, Victoria, Petra, Tom, Kathy, Kikki, Marie, Susan, Neuromancer and all the rest of you for helping to maintain a board here than can be mostly fun. We truly appreciate that!
Sorry about the DDL interview mix-up. Our mistake! Apparently, it's on at different dates/times in different areas. Keep your eyes & ears peeled. We have Direct TV, and it WAS NOT ON last night here, so ... please share your comments here, those of you who did see it! We'll all be waiting!

If the worst happens, and someone misbehaves, there is an option to block that person out on your system. Please become familiar with it. It's easy. Simply highlight the user from the list of names of people in the room and then check the "ignore user" box. Poof! They're gone!
