There is only one reason this morning's post was left up, and that is because of who it was from. Besides the obvious fact that the message ended mid-stream, I knew that their HAD to be more to the story. Unlike, Eric Hurley (Soldier #2) who I've met in person on a few occassions and spent several entertaining hours with, I've never met ol' Curtis in person. However, I have the utmost respect for the guy ... he's been trusting (sending me all those pictures to get scanned for the site, not really knowing who I was and if I'd ever return them), he's got a great sense of humor, is entertaining, insightful (and, in this case, inCITEful!!), intelligent ... Ladies, I'm not sure if he's single! ... I'm rambling ... suffice it to say, when I awoke this AM and took a peek at the board, it just didn't make sense. Actually, the thought of just closing the board up was entertained (very briefly) ... this place has been a source of great pleasure for me. The posts were always in good humor, there were interesting conversations going. Then, all of a sudden, it was no longer any fun. It was becoming dark. Reading this AM's post was almost the final straw. But, it was Curtis! I KNEW there was more to it ... or, I sure was hoping. Anyway, as I continue to ramble, all is well in the world & MohicanLand again. And, Soldier #1, NO hard feelings - NONE. (I thought maybe you were delerious from fever ... it's been a long time since you received those unattended-to wounds!)

Thank you all for your positive comments, here and via e-mail. And, about numbers ... those of you who post are the mere tip of the iceberg. This site currently draws close to 300 visitors per day (steadily rising, it was 40 in August! By the way, the counter ONLY counts people who access the front page.). Nearly half visit the Board, most are observers. The Director's Cut push will go on. Hey, I knew from the beginning there's only a VERY slight chance of anything coming of it, but it's worth a shot ... NOTHING comes of nothing.

And, before I start telling you of my early childhood years, I gotta go!
