On another note, I was discussing LOTM with some friends at Prickett's Fort a few weeks ago and the one big laugh we had was when someone mentioned Haweye's big leap during the elk hunt. If he hadn't been wearing the Nike moccasins he would surely have landed on that part of his anatomy that Connie wants to powder! Moccasins are great but on wet ground or leaves they can be as slippery as having grease on your feet.
