Oh well, I wrote a lengthy message about this yeaterday, but it seems to have disappeared now.

Once you get the scanner, decide whether or not you plan to upload them yourself or send them to someone else to publish onto the net.

If you plan to put them on your own website, then you need some free webspace, and also need to get in touch with your Internet Service Provider for details. You'll also need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client to allow you to upload the information to you Sevice Provider's servers.

On the other hand, you could send the scanned images to someone else who already has a website. If you don't know anyone who fits this description, then send them to Rich/Elaine or me. We will then make the images available within a few days (at most) of receiving them.
