Anyone remember anything about this party? It was down in my Mom's basement, and we were set up down there at opposite ends of the floor - I think. I can't remember anything, other than it did take place.
Anyone?!?

Yeah, it's coming back to me now..actually the headache never left, I think we started the noise bands trend 32 years ago...and just for the record we blew Gibbous to Kingdom Come....Remember the Band Sir Lord Baltimore and their song Kingdom Come and Woman You are the Master Heartache ? and Let us not forget " Screaming Lord Such "
Seriously Richie I do remember Gibbous and Finger being set up in your basement but I swear I can't remember what hapenned next...we must have been doing some good stuff that day...and who ever built your house should have built the Twin Towers because if it could with stand the noise of Gibbous & Finger it could take anything... Bean
Arthur...Being you were in Gibbous do you remember this ? |

I remember it. It was actually one band setup in the southwest corner of the basement. Fenced off from the onlookers. Both our moms were upstairs. Your band played and Artie,Jerry?, Jeffry? and Pete Holze sat in (Gibbus) for a couple of songs. Don't remember what was played only that it was very very loud and my ears rang for a few days. That Acoustic 350 of Arties was brutal. I also remember Frank standing guard over his drums to keep anyone from touching them. As we did not yet drive, Artie Pete, and Jerry (maybe Jeffrey) had to walk up to the Merrick Rd. bus stop. Artie with his caseless bass slung over his shoulder like a black powder rifle. |

You can do any thing that you wanna do...just don't mess with my drums, I'm the only one allowed to break them !!! Bean
I remember the first time we used Arthurs Acoustic 360 bass amp ( 360 I think it was not 350 ) in my parents house it shook the ceiling so much that my Moms plates vibrated off the china closet upstairs and the flourescent light bulbs fell out of the fixtures...and this was when we were just tuning up !!! Was this was beginning FTW rehearsals before Arthur moved to vocals and Doc played bass...? |
