Saw Neil last night at Radio City doing his Greendale concept stage show, this was the second time I've seen it, last October or November when he first took it the road was my first. I absolutely love it, the story line ect...It is sort of like what The Kinks were doing in the early 70's with their stage show productions of Preservation, Schoolboys in Disgrace, and Soap opera but Neil had a much bigger cast, I bet theure were close to 50 people acting out the different story lines while Neil and Crazy Horse provided the music and Neil most of the lead vocals even for the other characters who were mouthing th lines Neil sang. After the show was over Neil and Crazy Horse cam out and did about a 25 minute normal set of intense high energy Neil Young Grunge, feedback and distortion in the Rust Never Sleeps Tradition, all that was missing was an acoustic set from the Harvest and After the Gold Rush days. Gold Rush to this day is still my all time favoite Neil work.

The Courtney Love show last week in NYC was wild, I swear it was as bad or as good ( depending on how you look at it? ) as The FTW Iggy show at Holy Name, people, equipment, ect...were strewn all over the stage, Courtney was doing a me diving off the stage and removing her clothes every chance she got, and all you could hear was a big wall of noise, feedback and distortion...It was fcuking GREAT. Who says Rock n Roll is Dead ! Long Live Rock I need it every night !
