... I was married for the first time [not to my present wife]. It was a glorious Summer day. Remember?

Doc & Doris ... you were there. And Vince, you too! So was Mike Stanko. And Lil & Dink, Eddie & Terry. Of course, brother Ronnie. And Marc Foch!

I think we all got pretty stoned that day!

That was the last time I can remember hanging out with so many of you at the same time ... in person.

Rich

What a long, strange trip it's been!

Sorry I wasn't there Richie, the mid 70's was during the period when I dropped out of the Human Race, come to think of it was I ever a member? Of course I did come to join your and your wife for a short period not long after at TSS in Elmont working for Record World...remember how I would drive Dottie crazy playing The Kinks " Schoolboys in Disgrace " over and over again in the store...and let us not forget our great employee discounts !~

...and 50 years later in to this life I still don't know which way is up sometimes, let alone The Finger Lakes,
Thanks for being so forgiven Richie...The 70's were a pretty strange time for me...talk about being confused?
Bean still searching for the Road Map of Life?

a Ray Davies kinks song for every occassion;

" I'm a drifter who has lost his way
And I'm still searching for my dream
A wandering nomad with no home to stay
Just like a gypsy or a refugee
Lookin' at another sign for another town
Wondering if I'm ever gonna settle down
Or am I gonna keep on searchin' till my dying day

Chorus:
Still searching, still searching, still lookin', all alone
Till I find myself a home
Still searching, still searching, just like a rolling stone
Destination still unknown
When all my energy starts letting me down
I get this feeling I'll be still wandering 'round
Still searching, still workin', still lookin'
Until I find a way

This world is full of restless souls
Sleeping rough and living day to day
Drifters who left families wondering why they went away
Perhaps that's how I wanna be
While I'm looking for some peace of mind
How can I find security?
A restless spirit who can't reach his goal
Can't find a home until I've found my soul
Still hitchin' rides and lookin' for a place to go

Chorus

Still searching, still searching, still searching
Until my dying day, oh yeah
Why? yeah
Surprise, surprise
Still searching, still workin', still lookin'
Until I find my way
I'm a drifter who has lost his way
And I'm still searching for my dream "
