Anyone going to see Ringo out at North Fork (Westbury) this week? I wasn't thrilled with his band this time around, so I passed on buying tix, but I'd be interested in hearing how the shows were. Last time I saw him there, I ran into Michael and Karen while buying advance tix. I think that was the show with Jack Bruce in the band.
The show was great! Sheila E was fantastic, Edgar Winter did a wonderful version of "Frankinstein". Richard Marks and Billy Squir also put on a very solid show. Ringo was ....... Ringo, non assuming witty and sharp as ever, and could not have been better! An all around great show, one of the best pop shows I've seen.
