Saw the McCoy Tyner Trio at the Blue Note a few weeks ago and heard some of the best music I’ve ever heard live. The “side men” were Stanley Clark on bass and Billy Cobham on drums. Unbelievable! It’s well worth a listen if they roll through your town.

We also saw/heard Frank Vignola and the "Frank & Joe Show". Great guitar player. A must see/hear especially if you are a fan of Django. They are regulars at "Sweet Rythm" on 7th Ave & Bleeker and there is only a $15 cover .

All I saw this past weekend was The Smithereens and The Good Rats...
Good Loud Rock n Roll stuff from the past...
I'm thinking of going to London in the Spring to see Baker, Clapton and Bruce...I mean Cream!
Also going to see the return of the Black Crowes in March at the Hammerstein.
There's a new band out called the Soledad Brothers that are part shades of the MC5 and FTW sort of like the band " and you will know us by the trail of the dead "...Loud ploitically motivated noise bands, you gotta love em'.
