Richie just saying Hi and to see how it's going, things have been quiet on here lately. I heard you couldn't make it when Doc and Doris visted with Mike, Lillian, Eddie, Terri,Ricky and Benny...hope all is well with you, and the entire family, btw How is Sophie doing?

Richie I can why she is your weakness...she is SO DAMN CUTE ! I'm so glad everything is OK with her now...I could feel from your earlier notes it was all touch and go for a while and I sensed your worrying...

Uh-oh ... you asked about my weakness ... Sophia!!!
As you can see, she's doing quite well ... happiest kid I have ever seen. In this pic she is 10 months old. On this Sunday, she'll be 11 months. Almost a year. The first 6 months were a timeless nightmare. There is very little that happened - outside of her ordeal - that I can clearly remember during those 6 months. To look at her now, even though she is still tiny and catching up to where she should be [remember, her first six months were spent surviving, not growing!], one would never know what she went through.

Richie I don;t know who is going to bring this get together to a reality next year...maybe Doc or Michael and Karen since they are the social directors always hosting these big shindigs...next year if you, Lillian, Mike, Eddie,Terri, Ricky, and Benny all come up it should be a blast, we could have enough members of different combinations of the VS famous supergroups to have a live session of Dust, Finger,FTW and Iggy al rolled up in to one giant finale...I just hope Doc, Michael & Karen or who ever hosts the party has enough liability insurance on their home owners policy !!!

Of course I remember that song! From Muswell Hillbillies, right? Still one of my favorite records!
In the pic, taken this past Sunday, that is a rifle ... 1750's-era flintlock. I'm in my "longhunter" outfit, presented to me by a bunch of my Mohicans buddies this past June ... rifle included!!! A very big "thank you" for organizing the Mohican Gatherings all these years & for maintaining the web site. I was completely shocked, awed, surprised, humbled ... and appreciative!
So, who is gonna bring everybody together? |

Yeah Lillian is all excited about us all getting together next year some time but I don't know who is going to organize this...NOT ME, I barely have time to breathe as it is with work and comutting taking up at least 12 hours of my day and I get virtually no sleep as it is for 5 days straight ! Maybe Doc can pull this together, I have faith in him !
So how is Sophie doing and what's new with you ? Nothing too much going on here...but even with nothing going on I feel my life is hectic, just not enough hours in the day to get to everything that needs getting to, and that's without me sleeping !

Yes, I unforunately had to miss seeing a large group of the Old Gang! Very depressing, but I did see some pics!!! Hoping someone posts some here soon. It was great to see their faces. Benny, in particular [who I haven't seen since the very early 70s] looks not a day older. AMAZING! I feel like that was a lost opportunity for me.
WE'VE GOT TO GET TOGETHER NEXT SUMMER OF FALL, FOLKS!!!
