This would be a shame.
If Rich shuts down, I've had a message board set up and puttering for a while now. Perhaps it could be a temporary repository for this if it would keep the thing going? There is a section for Custer.
This is not trying to benefit from the possible shutdown, but it's there and might save the trouble of someone else having to set one up. It's been slower this year than in the past, and I was thinking of shutting it down.
I'd participate on someone else's if they did, though.
On mine, you do have to register for the Jeeper/Landowner forums because they get, as we've seen, annoying. Otherwise, you do not and can just fake a name and all that.

If there is interest and I'd need to make some changes, let me know. But I'd hope we could continue here.

Huh?
DC, is there discussion about a board shutdown? Obviously I have either missed the email, courtesy of spam protector software, or ?
Either way, Rich, do you care to address the issue and see if we can help in any way?
Best of wishes,
Billy |

Agreed. I believe this is the smartest, most demanding Custer board in existence--although we don't agree that LBH and GAC can be sources of historical "passion," or on anything else regarding the battle,I'd be more than happy to contribute.
I owned an LBH forum until last week--I hit the delete button on Thursday--my writing and my mentoring projects have just hijacked my life and sparetime. Believe me: I appreciate anyone who will take the time to foster such a project. Thanks DC--but I hope it doesn't come to this.
A fellow pinko, commie, and yup, I "dated Dean, married Kerry ..." We do agree on that!
