I do not post here (or anywhere else, for that matter) to become a topic of discussion at either this or ANY OTHER board. Kindly refrain from doing so both here and there--and kindly ignore the posts of those few others who cannot.
Frankly, I have become exhausted by it all .... I want to discuss Custer and his various battles, whatever they might have been. This statement will be my final--and only word--on the matter.

| Not to change this lovely topic but did anyone see History Hogs on THC? One curious statement made by them is interesting, according to them, Benteen was supposed to cross the LBH and then travel over the bench lands and strike the village from the west. Does anyone think that there is any validity to this? |

You should really use the moniker 'Sybil'. You post under so many assumed names that you are ruining the boards. Not just this one but others as well. Why not pick a name, stick with it, and be truthful about who you are?
You will post something and then use another name to reply to your own post. I've also noticed that you want to say something but no one will bring it up. You simply post what topic you want under an assumed name and then reply under your name with whatever it is you want said.
You probably have 9 or 10 identities on this board. Who knows how many others on the other boards.
Let me try and explain something to you. You have posted on the LBHA board as Rice Leyton McLean. You have actually made some good points. Let's just say, for argument's sake, that you attend one of the LBHA get togethers in the future. How can you tell people who you are on their message board when the person you have described in your postings is not you?
You seem to have a strong desire to have people look up to you as some sort of scholar. You aren't giving people that chance. They already have determined you are a fake and dismiss everything you say. We are talking about Little Bighorn here. Not much about that battle can be proven. You can have an opinion and be right. The next person can have a different opinion and also be right. Then we can all discuss it.

Yeah, I posted my thoughts about "History Hogs" under the Sound-Off thread. And one of the difficulties of the show was that it simplified the battalion structure on June 25th. But as far as I know Benteen's orders were to "pitch in" from the left, to keep the village from scattering to the west. If Benteen was leading a charge, he was given no medical personnel should there be casualties. I believe there are issues about the scouts or the lack thereof, but that's beyond my familiarity with this subject.
