And if you look closely, you will see the back of a certain lady who is seated on her chair under a large dining fly. She is wearing a green jacket and there is a large drum sitting just to her left.

Seamus is also in that photo. He is on the far right, sitting at the back of the camp.

Nice photos! Thanks for posting them.

Which one were you, Grenouille?

...and just who's backside would that be, hmmmmmm...? Seriously, those are a great series of photos! Now, if we could just remove the farby civilians out of the pics!

In pic #14, I am the second white coat over from the right in the photo.

Seamus just clued me in. I know exactly who you are! I just never made the connection, and your name isn't in your profile.

Job well done!

Hello Fitz,
Since I missed the first two G.E.s, I plan on making this one. I wished they wouldn't have scheduled it only a month away from the 250th of William Henry, though.

I do the military thing with Dumas Co. based out of Pitts. and the French Creek Living History Assn.

Thanks, WW. And thanks to everyone in this chatroom who supported the event.

One can through a party, but it's only successful if the people invited show up...and they did.

Special thanks to Seamus who did a stellar job of Brit commander/campmaster -- especially with some of the recent complications that arose before the event -- Seamus made the effort to attend and performed his duties with the professionialism and dedication that few can match. Much thanks, Mike!

Looks like it was a good event. It's a shame all the F&I evens are so far from where I live. I am trying to make the trip north at least once a year, especially during the 250th. I had wanted to make the trip twice this year, but with the price of gas and the timing of the events, it doesn't look promising.

OK. Too Much Information!!! That fellow goes by the name of Stray Wolf and what you see in that photo is not all that is "stray", if you get my gist. He is a real character.

Yes, I meant to mention to the Sarge when I saw him that he looks wonderful.

And, by the way, as you can see, the Sarge is alive and well, just very busy these days. He assures me that he does check in occasionally and will be back.

Hi,
Here are some pics of some hapless Boy Scouts who were captured by a reenactor "raiding party" and were forced to run the "gauntlet." What a hoot!!!

Also, a couple more pics I threw in.

Holy cow! I looked through those pics when this topic was first posted and didn't even notice. TMI indeed! Maybe he should fasten his loincloth a little tighter next time!

On another, not-so-revealing note, that guy with the baseball cap sure got in the way, didn't he? His hat's in at least four pictures.

Looks like you guys have a lot of fun at these events.
