MM hasn't done that many films, but how do you think LOTM ranks among them? When I saw "The Insider" a few years ago, I was really stunned by how he had progressed as a director since LOTM. "The Insider" seemed more polished; it was really a stunning piece of filmaking! I left the movie thinking "Damn, that was a bloody good film!", and that hasn't happened since I don't know when. However, LOTM is still my fav.
