Nick Medrano (creator of thealamofilm.com) and I have created the new addition to the "Upcoming Epics" movie network that Nick recently introduced.

Kingdom of Heaven is a story about a peasant blacksmith named Balian of Ibelin (played by Orlando Bloom) who rises to knighthood to protect the Holy Land of Jerusalem from foreign Christian invaders. While falling in love with a young, exotic queen (Eva Green) Balian finds himself intertwined between a decades long war and the shackles of love. The film takes place during the Crusades, which is known to be one of the bloodiest conflicts in this world’s history between two religions.

Directed by Ridley Scott, the new epic is set to come out in May 2005.
