I belong to a unit of the 60th based in Ohio. I have some questions regarding RAR uniforms. I'm having a regimental made by a local seamstress and need to know the width and length of the shoulder strap on the left shoulder of the coat. The strap was used to keep the cartridge box in place. Also, does anyone know of some good website that contain pictures and information about those who reenact the 60th? Thanks for the help.

You might want to check out the guys with Gordon's Company of the 60th RAR. These cats are squared-away, and they do their homework. If anyone can assist you with uniform questions for the 60th, they're it. Here is their link:
