A question - due to some truly wild weather yesterday, somehow I kept my electricity but lost my internet connection over night - just got it back. - Can't believe it but I watched the LOTM again. - With so many folks, especially extras, running around in moccasins or barefoot - was anybody bitten by snakes???

You know, I never thought about it, but at reenactments we do the same thing. I have seen snakes but never gave them much thought. |

Not that I know of, MH. Someone, I think it was Russell Means [not sure - maybe a crew member, I don't know] sprained an ankle hiking up to the last scene location at Table Rock. In all my travels at the locations sites I have never seen a snake - actually, come to think of it, I don't recall ever seeing any wildlife, other than birds. Weird. Never thought about it, but it is weird. Table Rock area is a wildlife sanctuary and bears roam the gorge area. |
