Amen! Good one.....!

Life's journey is not to
arrive at the grave safely
in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
totally worn out, shouting
'...holy sh*t ...what a ride!'

Yup, dat's why Seamus is our leader. But I really think he says "_Let's_ go" because he doesn't want to be left out of the fun.

The person who gets down in the dirt with the Commoners earns far more real respect than the one who sits back and merely crooks his manicured finger.

Well, I probably shouldn't tell him this, but Seamus usually is much of the fun! Ain't that right?

Now stop it, girls, you are embarrassing me!

(Ever notice that my finger isn't manicured and certainly isn't crooked whenever I 'display' it to someone??!)

Yes, and it is also pretty dirty at times.

But that's what happens when one cannot bathe or even wash hands at an event! We all have rather dirty fingers.

Aw come on, Seamus... I have never seen you embarrassed!

Another example of leadership is the courage it takes to look your child straight in the eye and respond, "there must be son for there is none here" when he ask you if there is intelligent life in space.

Ain't it the truth? BTW, shouldn't the original post here have been in "Thought for the Day?" All you would have had to do is wait for midnight EST, & you could have bumped Kurt & Theresa!

Uh...... when you say "here," are you referring to those of us who have posted in this thread, in particular, or to folks in Mohicanland, in general?

Just curious.

I believe that posters of this thread and Mohicanland are exemplary exceptions to "here." If more people would visit this site, read our threads, and share our experiences than, perhaps, we could say, "yes son, there is intelligent life both above and below."

Nice quote!
And in case I didn't get the chance, "Hey, Joseph! Welcome to Mohicanland!"
It's always nice to have another geezer on board! Obi's been strutting around like he owns the place!

I live in my own little world - but that's okay, they know me here!

You mean I don't???

Besides, with the condition of my back, strutting is out of the question! Shuffling & limping, OTOH...

Not to lessen your welcome any, Light, but Joseph has been hangin' around these parts for a couple of years. He actually spends quite a bit of time on Rich's "Against All Odds" boards.

But... what makes you think Joseph is a "Geezer" Light? He could be another "Young-un!"

Obi I just love your new signature. Well not new but much more "interesting" than the old one. You are a clever geezer aren't you?.
