Picking one right now is kind of a tough call, - I like both Ron Paul & Herman Cain. Unfortunately neither one is very likely to be the nominee, although Cain could easily end up on the ticket as a VP candidate. |

At least there is a true conservative amongst the front runners so far. Herman Cain is the one candidate that I find myself most in agreement with, and certainly the one with a personality that I find agreeable and sincere.
Hopefully the Republican machine will finally learn that you cannot run a RINO like 'Mitt for brains' Romney, and expect to energize the party base. But alas, I think that the 'check-pants' wearing, 'reach across the aisle' glad-handing, blue-blood Rockefeller RINO's of the party are not marginalized yet, and therefore still pose a serious threat to be dealt with.

I don't know who I will be voting for yet. I know that I won't be voting for Obama again. I don't see a whole lot on the Republican side that thrills me either. Out of all of them so far, I guess that Newt would get my vote. |

"I know that I won't be voting for Obama again." . Hello Kay, - good to hear from you again. - Tough call on the candidates, I have NO doubt Paul is the most honest, but he doesn't really stand a chance. A lot will happen between now and the election, ... hopefully for the better. Stop by a tad more often, ... ;) |

Hi MG I know that I don't come around as often, but nowadays I don't even get on the computer as often, but I do like to drop in every now and then. I agree that whoever is our next president, I hope that he or she can turn things around. Now don't get me wrong, I am still pretty liberal in my way of thinking and it is going to be hard to vote Republican, but I will have to bite the bullet and do it. I could just not vote, but that wouldn't be very American. Take care MG and we will see how it goes. |

Totally agree with you, Rich. Who would have thought that Newt would be one of the front running Republicans when his campaign team quit/fell apart just a few months ago. He is a fighter. I do think he needs to learn to be a little less blunt when he talks. |

Change of heart for me ...

This is the first primary season where I've felt like a candidate is going to end up being the nominee in spite of the fact that very few people actually like him. . .I'm guessing Romney's going to win the nomination in the end and I know hardly anyone who actually LIKES him. Look how poorly he's polling here. But, the Republicans are going to be stuck with him, I suspect. Blecchh! |

It finally has arrived here, - "primary day" is tomorrow, the 10th. Truth is I'll be glad when it's over, the constant mailings & phone calls are over the top this year. Romney will probably take it, ... but unless things change, I don't see a "strong contender" going against BO in the Fall. |

And this is why Obama has nothing to worry about next November. As long as he doesn't do anything really, really stupid, he will win. And maybe even if he does. |

Everybody needs to watch or tape Nightline on ABC tonight at 11:35 EST. I did not know that Newt Gingrich was such a sleazy character. I understand that this is his ex-wife giving the interview, but Nightline is giving Newt the chance to respond, but I think that he declined. |
