Posted - December 19 2007 : 09:27:59 AM Quite simple really. Post your quote and then someone posts who said that quote and then posts a quote of their own. You don't need to wait for anyone to say your answer ir right or wrong, just post another quote.

Posted - March 08 2008 : 7:35:09 PM Not to break this thread, but I believe the quote should be "Prepare your fireLOCKS!" ( That is, unless Dale Dye was advising that day! ) |

Posted - February 07 2008 : 7:37:23 PM No, Light. That's not it. Cora said it to Hawkeye when he was in the stockade and she came to see him. After no one answered for a few days, I went back to the scene in the movie to make sure I wasn't imagining it. But, I was right. She DID say it. So, at least I knew what I was saying. |

Posted - February 07 2008 : 6:59:22 PM I think it was Duncan talking to Hawkeye at the massacre, when his regiment was ambushed by Magua.

Posted - January 31 2008 : 8:13:30 PM You're close, RedFraggle! It was Duncan speaking to Chingachcook, at the Cameron's cabin.
As for your quote, that was Cora speaking to Alice.

Posted - January 31 2008 : 10:58:05 AM Ummmm . . . Duncan to Hawkeye?
"Would you like some tea?" |

Posted - January 30 2008 : 6:30:25 PM That quote would be from one of the members of the Colonial Militia, speaking to Jack Winthrop as they were preparing to leave Ft. William Henry & return to the frontier to defend their farms & families.
"What did you say?" |
RedFraggle |
Posted - January 30 2008 : 08:01:32 AM Cora to Col. Munro.
"Got no families, cap'n." |

Posted - January 29 2008 : 8:03:57 PM That would be Hawkeye to Duncan when they are discussing with Col. Monroe just what they actually saw at the Cameron's cabin.

Yes, Fitz. I was so disappointed when I finally was convinced that was not what she said. It would have fit so well.
I just thought he was so legendary and well known on the frontier that Cora had heard talk of him at Albany. "Nathaniel's word been good on the frontier a long time before you got here!" So I think it would have worked.
