Posted - February 05 2019 : 5:23:01 PM For any who may remember when we went to the French Broad Rifles range for a shoot in 2002 to 2004 era, Owen was always there representing the Club. I received this today:
For those of you who knew Owen, Sad news from Kelly Pittman; Long time member of the French Broad Rifles passed away last night. His remains are to be cremated and no news of further arrangements are forthcoming at this time. Please remember Owen and his family in your thoughts and prayers. |

Posted - February 10 2019 : 08:43:37 AM I remember how he seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. I still go to the FBR range every year but I have not seen Owen in a while. |

Posted - February 09 2019 : 1:04:03 PM Yes, our day at the French Broad Muzzleloaders range was one of the highlights of the Mohican Gatherings ... shooting, music, colonial games, feasts, good people, hanging out with Russell Means. Owen was a key part of that. Always made us feel at home. He will be missed. |
