Saturday, June 19, 2010: A full day all over the place, including Asheville's Manor Inn (Webb's Headquarters), the Elk Hunt, possibly Cameron's Cabin site (*NEW* and tentative), raffles, Ariel's Auction, and the MOVIE on the big screen at the Colonial Theater in Canton, NC. Sunday, June 20, 2010: Sunrise at Green Knob Overlook, Table Rock, Linville Falls, Lake James, and breakfast and lunch at Famous Louise's. If you've attended a Gathering before, you'll recognize this line-up. Sometimes it's best not to mess with perfection. :-) Soldier #2 will be on -hand to reminisce and explain the filming at the various movie sites. And if you've been to a Gathering before, you already know that surprises occur and you never know who else might show up! Stay tuned here for future updates, and look for registration to officially begin in early February. At that time, the lodging announcement will be made (also looking fairly inexpensive). In the meantime, mark your calendars and ask the boss for vacation time in June!
