The Fort at No. 4 begins its Regular Season the weekend of April 29th and 30th.
Saturday 10am-4:30pm
Sunday 11pm-3:30pm
Visiting the Fort at No. 4 during the last weekend of April is the perfect time to see the amazing changes that are happening here, meet the new Executive Director, Sabrina Thomas, and some of our wonderful Volunteers and learn about the events scheduled for the 2023 season!
During our opening weekend, we have members of Thunderhawk Living History School presenting:
*Warfare tactics and weaponry of the 1700's
*Flint knapping and finger weaving with natural and hand made cordage
*History of and showing a step by step process of powder horn making
*Major Robert Rogers raid at St Francis and trek to the Fort at No. 4
*Food ways of the 18th century
We will also have volunteers presenting broom making, 18th century medicine, 18th century sewing methods, flax to linen fabric discussion, and women and their role at the Fort's Trading post and more! . Admission: . Adults - $12 Seniors - $10 Students - $8 Under 5 - Free
Friends of the Fort Members - Free . . I won't be going this weekend - but weather permitting May 6th ... |

Posted - April 28 2023 : 09:37:29 AM I saw that the Pequawket Alliance is going. This weekend, I think. Should be nice. We are having an event at Musgrove Mill in SC which is about 40 miles from where I live, so that's where I will be. |
