Hi Everyone..:) I don't take Eric's words as making him negative, but rather, pointing out negative events. His words may be alittle abrasive & make some uncomfortable, but I prefer to be told things as is & not sugar~coat it.

Why does pointing out the bad aspects in filming LOTM make him negative or unprofessional? He's an artist, so its only logical that he wants any film he's involved with done well. Which means good editing, fair treatment of cast, crew & extra's...the actors, crews performance depends alot on their morale. Anyway, like Eric said, Hollywood made alot off of LOTM, so they could care less what he says about LOTM.

Also, to say that one understands his negative words because of the history of Indians, is to stereo~type him as the poor, suffering Indian, to feel sorry about. He's simply speaking against injustices he's seen in life, just as all over the world injustice occurs in varying degrees & for different reasons. We all got our own life crosses to bear, be it about weight, height, race...so, he's speaking of the injustices experienced or seen in his own life. Plus, he did speak out about timecard tampering, the strike of the Makeup Artists on LOTM as well, it wasn't all Hollywood against Indians.

Lastly, the commentary after Eric's interview stating "simmering below the surface of his words" & "suspect an agenda waiting to spew forth", shows how far away people of different races are from understanding each other. Anytime someone speaks passionately against injustices to their race, it is taken as an attack on (all non~Indians in this case). Which is where this kind of thinking should be analyzed & reflected upon.

Eric to me was being honest from his life's point of view & never inferred anything close to "blaming all non~Indians for this or that" in his interview. Think about it, please...:)

This isn't meant as a flame, only better understanding...:)
